Timeline for exhibition

Exhibition statement
[working title] exhibits the spatial practice of ten emerging artists from Queensland College of Art's sculpture department. Drawing influence from an array of artistic practices ranging from traditional fabrication to installation work, the group's cross-disciplinary approach to contemporary sculpture includes found and reclaimed materials, cast objects, projection, moving image, and new media.[working title] includes work from Elijah Jackson, Helen Hardess, Henry Cottam, Kierra-Jay Power, Lisa McNamara, Nicholas Brocchi, Tiana Jefferies, Tristan Eyles, Tristan Griffin, and Zachary McCann.
As I have never been to the POP gallery it was important for me to research the space before hand so I could assess where power could be accessed. And so I could arrange transport, keeping in mind that I am a disabled pensioner with limited walking distance capacity. I was notified by class members that it is a 40 at minute return walk to the gallery from the southbank trainstation, also consider that the journey from kingscliff to POP gallery is a 4 - 5hr return journey via train. This distance could be problematic for me, I may need to consider driving to brisbane each day. Which then raises concerns for fatigue, financial strain and the need for all day parking.
