Another option was to suspend the VR headsets from the wall, with three in a row, attached to the power source located on the wall. See below
The issue here is with varied gallery spaces, and finding a suitable attachment mechanism to the wall. There is also greater risk that the headsets would fall to the ground, and break.
A headset weighs in at 500g, with the display weighting in at an additional 100g (approx)
